Comfort At Home: Portable Hot Tub Rental

Posted by admin | Health Articles | Wednesday 30 September 2009 12:18 am

If you do not want to buy your own inflatable portable hot tub, there is always the option of renting one. Party occasions and events are becoming a very popular time where people are using portable hot tub rental to add a tropical flavour to the setting. There are some companies that will rent these hot tubs during the winter months so that people can bask in the glory of the hot tub while out in the chilli weather of the environment. Portable hot tub rental pricing depends on the size of the hot tub, with a two person tub usually renting for not much more than over one hundred dollars for the whole night.

Options

When a portable hot tub rental is an inflatable hot tub, it is often made for two to four people. With a motorized inflation device to help and a basic garden hose to add the water, you will find these renatls very quick and easy to set up. With a simple hook up and plug into a wall socket the heater is there ready to use. The water tends to heat up quickly so that the hot tub is all set and ready to go in no time at all.

If the tub is a bigger version, created for a party occasion, then the hot tub is usually not made of a soft material. It is also often not made for the individual to set up by himself, but instead will come already set up on a trailer. The trailer will be designed to have a platform as well so that people can easily walk up steps and around the edge before getting into the water of the hot tub. This is a very basic method since the water is typicaly already in the portable hot tub which was rented so that anybody could have to top it up with water from a hose and then plug in the heater so that the hot tub can get to the requested temperature.

There are many different versions of a portable hot tub rental to select from. Almost as many as there are portable hot tub styles to purchase. There are some that have seats in them that are designed to mold to the individuals body, with jets placed at strategic areas to massage the neck, back and legs. Other versions of a portable hot tub rental are not so specific, but have a bench seat all around the hot tub so that a lot more people can jump in the tub at once and still find a jet to massage their backs and necks. Awesome!!

Your Shoes May Be Causing Metatarsalgia

A fashionable pair of top designer shoes is one of the most prized possessions in a woman’s closet. As a result, high-heeled shoes have turned into a unique statement of fashion. Unfortunately, these styles of shoes can cause an array of problems in our precious feet. Among them: metatarsalgia, hammertoes, bunions, and Arch Support problems. Not surprisingly, the University of Maryland found that ill-fitting shoes, particularly those with a lifted heel, can both aggravate and be the cause of foot and toe conditions. Men can also experience the perils of uncomfortable shoes. Particularly stiff work boots or tight dress shoes can cause major foot problems. For both genders, foot pain can be brought on by exercise and sports activities.

Why Poorly-Fitting Shoes Can Cause Ball Of Foot Pain

Shoes with high heels force the weight of the body towards the front of the foot. This forces excessive pressure on the front portion of the foot as opposed to normally spreading weight over the full foot. Poor cushioning can also add to major foot pain. Muscles and fat in the pads of the feet, including the heels and ball of the foot, also help cushion the foot. Nevertheless, the foot is unable to carry out this by itself. Cushioning and arch support in the shoes help to rebalance weight and absorb the energy of activities such as walking, running, jumping, and heavy lifting.
Therefore, make sure to use shoes that have proper cushioning and arch support that also fit well

Rigid shoes are another key source of foot pain in both men and women. In females, shoes that are too tight, especially in the toe area, are the cuplrits for most foot discomfort experienced. High-heeled shoes also cause issues , since they cannot provide the foot with the right amount of arch support which can cause the arch to fall and be a main contributor of foot pain. For males, rigid shoes used during work hours can bring a unique set of difficulties. Unfortunately, cushioning and arch support are not present in these styles of shoes, so they are not good choices for daily-use footwear. The Mayo Clinic cites that poor choice in shoes can cause flat feet to develop, especially during heavy lifting or repetitive motion such as jumping or running.

How Orthotics Can Treat Metatarsalgia and Improve Arch Support

An effective fix to relieving ball of foot pain and poor arch support is through the use of orthotic insoles. These are different from the inserts found at the local store. There are even some made especially for high heels. They provide crucial alignment and cushion for feet so they can perform optimally and stay pain free.

Back pains can increase if you continue to avoid exercise. The latest studies dug up different results. Costa Mesa Chiropractor

At the University of Alberta in Canada, researchers found that the response to exercise is very positive. {By “regular”, they meant exercising at least four days a week.}

{“While it could be assumed that someone with back pain should not be exercising frequently, our findings show that working with weights four days a week provides the greatest amount of pain relief and quality of life,” according to Robert Kell, lead author of the study and an assistant professor of exercise physiology at the said university.}

These findings had a big impact to the college of sports and medicine in Seattle Washington. It shined new light on an age old problem.

For the study, 240 men and women with chronic lower back pain were recruited. The subjects were divided into groups of 60. Each of the group was given a different exercise plan for the week. A fourth group didn’t exercise at all.

After a 16 week trial, researchers found the group that exercised more has had less back pain. The group that went to the gym four times a week have improved their life’s. Costa Mesa Chiropractic

{“The level of pain decreased by 28 percent in programs that included exercise four days a week, by 18 percent three days a week and by 14 percent two days a week.} {The quality of life, defined as general physical and mental well-being, rose by 28 percent, 22 percent and 16 percent respectively,” reported ScienceDaily.com.}
