As a sufferer, I know just how it feels to make eye contact with the attractive blonde girl in the supermarket, and how it feels to think everyone’s laughing at you or going beetroot red in situations that aren’t even embarrassing. Blushing is a common physical reaction to emotion. Sometimes one will blush when in an unfamiliar social situation. Some people just can’t seem to stop themselves from blushing.
